My brother Joaquin started the business in 2023, when he was a junior at New Canaan High School (NCHS). During his junior and senior years, he delivered more than 15 cords of firewood to local customers.
I joined him on almost every delivery, learning the ins and outs of the business along the way. Now that Joaquin is off to college, I’m taking over and building on what we started together.
Today, 80% of our orders come from returning customers. I’m proud of those relationships and excited to welcome new customers to Thiago’s Firewood Service.
